It has been forever that I have posted a thankful Thursday. Not that I am not thankful......I just really don't like posting when I don't have pictures to go with it BUT....in light of this week I feel the need to remember Who is on the throne!!! Aside from the national news my family received some really hard news also. Where would we be without the hope that Jesus gives us? I am grateful that He is the one who sees it all, knows us intimately, carries our burdens, gives us joy in the midst of it all, restores, redeems, heals, saves, is Eternal and above all is ALWAYS on the throne and is not suprised by anything!
I also wanted to leave you with a challenge. I follow Angie's blog. She posted an awesome idea and I would invite you to join with me. I have titled my blog In The Light of Eternity because it is how we try to live our lives...with an eternal perspective and honestly weeks like this week can get us focussed on the right now. Her post is what life is really about so check it out and join with me!
May you all find Thanks in today!!!!! (And in case you haven't seen it check out the picture below of two of the sweetest three year olds!)

Hi Sharon - thanks for the tag. I know I am supposed to post this on my blog - but I seriously do not know anyone else - other than my friend Jen that has a blog. So here it is gross and weird stuff about me.
I am addicted to diet coke - yes addicted. On a good day I can down a couple before 9am. I think it is the bubbles that I enjoy the most.
I can burp louder and more disgustingly than most men. Gross...I know. Missy and I sometimes have contests in the office.
I went skydiving with my best friend when I turned 30. My 1st shoot did not open. Thank heavens my second one did (:
I have always wanted to be a singer - I think I can sing - but really, I can't carry a tune and I do not know how to read music.
Dave and I eloped - we were married along the snake river in Jackson Hole-WY, July 4th -1997. My best friend, her husband, the officiator and a photographer were the only persons present.
I could eat tacos/Mexican food everyday, every meal.
I have never moved more than 15 miles away from my home town of Chandler, AZ!
Ok - so I do not think I know 7 people that blog. Jen - I guess that means you are the lucky lady. (sorry girls...I think her blog might be private).
Have a great day
Sheri

It was so wonderful talking to you on Mon. evening. You don't know what that did for my heart! I so hope and pray that we do get to meet up in Dallas. I CAN'T wait to see you!
I am very sorry for the hard news you received. I hope you all are ok. Please be assured that I am praying for you!
Love you!
p.s. Sorry I haven't responded to the "tag". Maybe I will have a chance and figure it out soon! Sounds fun!
