In the Light of Eternity

All right, I am back!!!! I have had several of you scold me for not keeping you updated about Hudson. The kids finished school Friday and the last two weeks were a killer as they studied for finals and finished up on missed work while we were in China.

There were times I sat down to write but with the earthquakes in China and the very sad news of Maria Chapman last week I just never felt like I could. I found out that the orphanage where Hudson was has had some damage and the kids are outside in tents. This makes me so sad but so grateful Hudson is home with us. I also am so saddened at all the new orphans in Chna who lost parents and for those parents who lost their dear children.

There has been good news though also. We have seen God answer prayers in some incredible ways with some of our travel families. We are so grateful for Micah and Maggie's great test results, for Abby and Andrews healing after surgeries, and for all the kids and the progress they are making.

The Sanza's have been home for two weeks now and we have had a few playdates with Ty. He is a cutie and we sure wish Hudson could tell us what he is saying in Chinese. They seem to enjoy being around each other although are still a bit shy around one another. We are looking forward to our pool days together.

Hudson continues to delight us. He is learning more and more signs and has learned to stand up from a sitting position. We are now working on crawling......
He hasn't been feeling well the last couple of days. No symptons except a fever which I am hoping is a reaction to shots.

We are so happy summer is here and look forward to experiencing it through Hudson's eyes.
