What will 2011 bring???
For sure, my oldest son graduatating high school and heading off to college...(he is deciding between three, none of which are closer than four hours away....)
Madalyn attending her first homecoming dance (in three weeks) and learning to drive..
Kailee leaving the things of middle school behind her and entering the big halls of high school
and Hudson...well, hopefully no seizures, no surgeries and conquering reading which I believe he is determined to do before school starts again on Wednesday.
2010 was a year of "unthawing" from the numbness of losing my mom and all the "firsts without"...
It was a year of great faith and character building as we had to "let go" of Jordan and trust the Lord with him...and great rejoicing when he decided to come home this summer!!!!
I feel excited and rejuvenated and am at the point of saying to the Lord "ok,,,what's next?"...that is typically what drives me but after some hard blows over the last 2 years I realized I kind of landed in a "safe zone".....not the place I really like to be as I become lazy and callous....
I have ALOT a want to accomplish this year...one being scripture memory and I am exited to join Beth Moore and my siesta sistas in that starting tomorrow. You can read more here but I would LOVE for some of my blog friends to join me!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR MY FRIENDS AND ABUNDANT BLESSINGS TO YOU IN 2011!!!!

I always like to think of the new year as a clean slate. Granted it's not that simple, but a new frame of mind is good...
Praying that college decisions, driving, high school and learning to read bring blessings for your kids.
I join you in looking forward to "what's next..."
Happy New Year! I so understand that year of "firsts." We went through that in 2008 and it was a... year. May the Lord shower you with abundant blessings in 2011!!!
Happy New Year Friend!!!!
I too hope to be in the Word more! Staring at the Bible in one year spread sheet! I wish I could join you at BM, but I am doing BSF again, and Isaiah is keeping me busy!!!
I will be praying that Hudson has a very "un-eventful" 2011!
Miss you!
Diana
would love to be in a Bible study with you! I wish it wasn't so hard to get up there :(
Sharon,
Just got around to reading your blog.
I will certainly keep Hudson in my prayers. I had hoped that all of his problems were behind him... I know how hard it is to watch him go through all of the IV sticks. I've been on both sides so know how you feel..
Pray that 2011 will be a better year.
Love Pat
